Evangelization: The Heart of Stewardship

01-27-2019Weekly LetterBill Marcotte

“Ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” Luke 10:2
For the past three years, members of our Pastoral Council, Finance Council, and now our newly formed Stewardship Council have come together with our Pastor and Pastoral Staff to focus on a strategic plan to increase the participation of Stewardship in our parish. Our meetings have been very fruitful and the plans to go forward are exciting.

Be Ambassadors for Christ!

01-13-2019Weekly LetterBill Marcotte

For close to six years now, I have heard story after story of how welcomed our parishioners have felt when coming through our doors on the way to Mass. First timers, those seeking a new parish home, have chosen St. Andrew for this very reason! In addition, what has always struck me is how friendly everyone is and how our parishioners seem to know most everyone by name. Undoubtedly, this is a true testament to the founding of the parish, the leadership of our pastors and staff over the years, and most especially the good Christ-centered people of our parish.

The Stewardship of Our Time

01-06-2019Weekly LetterFr. Robert Seraph Aliunzi, AJ

In previous articles about the objective of embracing stewardship as a way of life for our parish, I discussed the need to understand the spirituality of stewardship. I emphasized that we are creations of a loving God (our Father); that all we are and have are gifts from Him. He entrusts these gifts to us for use, not only for ourselves but to help others to gain eternal life. We also need to build a personal relationship with God. This relationship needs toexist based on Identity, Trust, Gratitude, and Love. God cares for us as individuals.
